Mānowai o Hanakahi (MOH) provides environmental camps, courses and training workshops for middle and high school youth on Hawaiʻi Island. A place-based and hands-on learning program, participants learn about the environment by working with UH Hilo staff, researchers and students, community members, and agency partners. Program experiences aim to: inspire & nurture interest in the natural sciences by showcasing the natural history and conservation challenges Hawaiʻi faces and by providing exposure to ʻāina-based pathways & careers. Camps and courses include service learning experiences that benefit our environment and communities.
